President Donald Trump has laid his cards on the table by offering the Palestinian Authority a deal which would see Jordan and the Palestinian Authority become a confederation.

The proposal was presented to an ailing Mahmoud Abbas by White House advisor Jared Kushner in August 2017.
True to form Abbas rejected the proposal out of hand and put a counterproposal suggesting Israel join a three-way confederation.
Abbas was being disingenuous as usual. He accused the United States of being “hostile toward the Palestinians and the peace process.”
Before this proposal is buried like so many before it… let’s consider it seriously for a moment.
More than 70% of Jordan’s population is of notional Palestinian origin, they are an integral part of Jordanian society and in many cases have family relations with Arabs at present living in the Shomron and Yehuda (Judea and Samaria). Much of the existing infrastructure is shared and therefore a pseudo association already exists.
On the downside, King Abdullah would not contemplate a confederation between the two entities prior to a recognised Palestinian state by the International community otherwise it would be seen as tantamount to a Jordanian takeover with fatal consequences for the Hashemites should they ever pursue such a dangerous course.
This brings us to Israel’s long-term interests which can not be served by an enlarged Palestinian state built out of Israels ‘Heartland.’
There is no strategic interest or regional peace to be gained by abandoning part of our sovereign land to those who have made it very clear what their long-term goal for the Jewish State would be should the Arabs ever gain the ascendancy.
We would see a steep rise in anti-Israel sentiment throughout the region and a move towards a Moslem Alliance with the express purpose of destroying Israel by force.

The Left-leaning politically correct class need to wake up to the reality that slogans and empty promises don’t defend Jews from enraged anti-semites and their fellow travellers.
You can dress a pig in silks and diamonds but it will still be a pig in the morning, however, you look at the pros and cons of President Trump’s latest foray into Middle East policy this is a Pig in anyone’s language.

What we don’t need is rehashed proposals that would betray Israel’s sovereignty and steel our Historical Heartland from under us.
I call on my brothers and sisters living in the ‘Heartland’ to stand strong and be firm in resisting any suggestion of withdrawal from the Yehuda and Shomron.
This is our ‘Land’ and we don’t have to apologise to or accommodate those who would conspire with our enemies in divesting the Jewish state of one-inch of our land.
The Arab states continue to dream of fulfiling their aims and at promoting their principles that provide only one outcome the destruction of Israel.
The Dustbin of History
Nothing new here, Titus, Czar Nicholas II of Russia, Stalin, Hitler Yimach shemo (“May his name be obliterated”), these anti-Semites line the dustbin of history and anyone wishing to follow their example will join them.
The facts are this ‘Land’ belongs to us and to no other with G-d’s help we shall refuse any compromise that might arise in the future.
We would call upon all honest people to ‘stand with Israel’ during these challenging times!
