BEIRUT EXPLODES and the WORLD SCRAMBLES FOR ITS MORAL COMPASS.
The unexplained explosion in Beirut this week has not only sent devastating shock waves across the Lebanese capital but also sent the world media scrambling for its moral compass.
One hundred and thirty-seven people have so far died as a result of the cataclysmic explosion while another five thousand have suffered injuries as a result of the detonation.
The Lebanese government is blaming a detonation of 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate for the disaster and while they have not directly sited the Moldovian flagged ship the MV Rhosus as the source for the ammonium nitrate they have intimated as much in their press releases.
Regardless of its source one must remain dispassionate and be fully aware that Hezbollah has previously been sited for storing large quantities of ammonium nitrate in London and Cyprus for the purpose of instigating terrorist attack’s.
This will not be the first time Hezbollah and its subsidiaries have embedded deadly explosive materials within civilian area’s.
It will take some time for the facts to emerge before we can confidently comment on what really happened in Beirut this week. In the meantime, we can be confident the worlds media will get it wrong as long as the narrative doesn’t match their political, social, bias.
It will not be too long before the outrage and fury of the media is let loose on the usual suspects in their manic desire to unleash their prejudice on the wrongdoers… read anyone who doesn’t agree with them.
Endless moral outrage thinly disguising their egotistical motives where they come to believe that outrage is a moral act in its self.
The media would not know a moral imperative if they fell over it.
“Lebanon? Oh I am sorry that was yesterdays news!”
