Bubble Land & Other Stupidities

Whether its the Bedouin of the Negev indulging in violent protest over Israels right to plant trees on government land or nationalist Arabs in the Shomron and Yehuda undermining Israel sovereignty in its Heartland while the Arabs of East Jerusalem rewrite history and trash the facts of 3,000 years of Jewish occupation seemingly at will.

Israel’s government’s response is right out of ‘Bubble Land’ accompanied by all the stupidities we have come to expect from these feckless acolytes of liberal values and empty promises.

Do they not understand that all their efforts to accommodate Arab grievances while trying to make them into good Israeli citizens falls on deaf Arab ears, and why should it be any different. They are Arabs, not Jews, and they have no desire to become honorary Israelis. They dream of an Arab state without Jews.

Yet some Jewish leaders hold up these ideals of Arab self-determination as the way of the future. What future could these Jewish leaders be dreaming of if not a nightmare of rot and moral suicide of the Jewish State?

These false Jewish dreams can only erode the confidence from within, to raise a generation full of doubts concerning the Jew’s right to all the land of Israel, leaving our people guilt-ridden, confused, and defeatist.

A policy that cowers before Israel’s sworn enemies is more powerful than any number of hostile armies, and it’s time we, the people of Israel, demanded our leaders burst the bubble on their stupidities and set about exposing the disturbers of the peace as the brutal enemy they genuinely are. Then we can look forward to a future full of promise.

Yosef Yigal Drever and Sylvia Drever co-founded Achdut HaLev in 2006 to reach out to the Jewish community's around the world providing support in learning Torah and promoting the 'Return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel.' Yosef Yigal made Aliya in 2014 while Sylvia his wife is an Israeli. In late 2014 Achdut HaLev concentrated all its resources towards Aliya and the rebuilding of Eretz Yisrael. Excluding none and embracing all. The commandment to settle the Land of Israel is equal in importance to all the Torah Commandments all together: (Sifri Deut 12:29)
