Ehud Barak and the Two-State Garage Sale!

Ehud Barak’s failure to incite Israelis to stage rolling protests outside the Knesset in an effort to undermine the government of Israel is now being followed up by an attack on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s leadership accusing him of being ”narcissitic, manipulative, and shortsighted.” He then criticised Netanyahu’s handling of the American proposals for a two-state solution, saying the Prime Minister had on four occasions when the solution was raised ”always torpedoed it,” according to Barak.

Ehud Barak suggested if Netanyahu rejected the Biden move to a two-state solution, he would be guilty of dragging ”Israel deeper into the mud in Gaza.”

Predictably, Barak called for a general election no later than June 2024 while saying Yair Lapid, Benny Gantz, and Gadi Eisenkot should run together on a promised condition to accept the Biden proposal for a two-state solution.

This from the man who, in 2000, at the Camp David Summit, would have given away East Jerusalem, virtually all of Judea and Samaria to Yaser Arafat, putting Israel’s security and viability as a sovereign state at risk. If anything is to be learnt from the October 7 tragedy, its people like failed Prime Minister Ehud Barak, who would lead Israel into a permanent state of October 7 all to secure the overthrow of an elected government and regain political power. He and his cronies, by promoting a two-state solution, will only bring the Jewish people a campaign of terror and murder never seen in the last seventy-six years.

If these leaders were ever to gain control over the country, they would destroy the dream of 3,000 years, the dream of the Jewish State.

Yosef Yigal Drever and Sylvia Drever co-founded Achdut HaLev in 2006 to reach out to the Jewish community's around the world providing support in learning Torah and promoting the 'Return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel.' Yosef Yigal made Aliya in 2014 while Sylvia his wife is an Israeli. In late 2014 Achdut HaLev concentrated all its resources towards Aliya and the rebuilding of Eretz Yisrael. Excluding none and embracing all. The commandment to settle the Land of Israel is equal in importance to all the Torah Commandments all together: (Sifri Deut 12:29)
