Gantz a Peddler of Wishful Thinking
Israel Defense Minister Benny Gantz’s meeting this week at his private home with the Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas is symptomatic of the previous Israeli Government’s willingness to buy Arab assurances in the face of the historical evidence to the contrary.
It appears Gantz has offered Abbas economic benefits, with regards to VAT, import taxes, and excise duties; a NIS 100 million loan; 1,100 entry permits for Arab nationalists ( read nationalists, not fake Palestinians) and dozens of VIP permits for senior Arab nationalist officials. Also on offer is the legalization of the status of 9,500 undocumented Arab nationalists and foreigners living in Judea, Shomron, and Gaza.
It’s patently obvious that Gantz and Gang have learned nothing from the tragedy that was the Oslo Accords which in 1993 brought the likes of Abbas and his cronies into the very ‘Heart Land’ of the Jewish State.
What benefit has accrued for Israel after twenty-eight years of accommodating Arab intransigency? Absolutely nothing except for murder and mayhem of the worst kind. Under the Oslo Accords, Jewish blood has once again become cheap while Israel’s people are seen as an expendable commodity.
Yet Gantz and this present government seem comfortable with more of the same as they lead the poor Jewish sheep to the slaughter that masquerades as moderation and responsible government.
This present government appears to be led by ignoramuses whose totality of thought and ideas are conceived in a bubble and borrowed from alien concepts their duty of care is bankrupt and fraudulent if left to them, Arab nationalist crimes against the Jewish people will only continue encouraged by Jewish timidity.
We the Jewish people must ask ourselves are we prepared to pay the murderers of our children? To buy a fleeting moment of peace?
If not then we must make our voices heard in the Halls of power before it’s too late.
