If It Weren’t So Serious, It Would Be Laughable.
A recent report claimed Europe and the U.S. were currently mounting a campaign to destabilise Iran’s drone program while Western companies supply some fifty components for Iran’s drones. If that wasn’t laughable in itself, then the fact that the United States and European governments are falling over themselves to allow the Islamic Republic of Iran to develop its nuclear program under the guise of a nuclear agreement Mark II most certainly is black humour.
The irony between the two approaches is staggering. One would hope that the world would watch with surprise and distress as the Western democracies clandestinely help Iran in its lethal ambitions of ferocity and growing war spirit, its pitiless ill-treatment of minorities and its denial of the normal protections of civilised society while targeting the Jewish State solely on the grounds of race for extinction by nuclear holocaust. If it weren’t so serious, it would be laughable. The West talks of sanctions to destroy Iran’s drone program and, simultaneously, refuses to face the Iran nuclear threat. They use a sledgehammer to destroy a nat and offer peanuts to the elephant in the room. They choose to virtually ignore Iran’s nuclear goals for which they have been pressing in order that their status may be equal to that of the United States.
The world is heading for war. While the West’s leaders dislike hearing such grim forebodings and would prefer to believe Iran is bluffing, they are content to persist in unwarrantable self-abasement. They espouse defeatist doctrines, and should they continue down this road, they will indeed have war.
All that’s left to be done is the inevitable ” Punch Line.” ”Laughable, just laughable!”
