International outrage as Israel seeks to contain Jenin violence. Outrage indeed!
Israel is once again dragged before the Court of International Opinion over its security action in Jenin, an Arab extremist stronghold where two IDF personnel and five Border Police were wounded in an ambush on Monday this week.
A spokesman for the European Union, Peter Stano tweeted that the European Union “is strongly concerned by the latest events in Jenin,” he also tweeted. “Military operations must be proportionate and in line with international humanitarian law,”.
The “EU also called on Israel not to proceed with plans for more construction in settlements. These are illegal [and an] obstacle to peace,” he added.
So once again, Israel is prorogued for defending its citizens from terrorist violence and criminal intimidation. Israel’s right to settle its sovereign territory also came in for European criticism.
There comes a time for a strident reply in defence of the Jewish state’s right to decide what action is proportionate and correct. The Jewish people no longer live in the European Ghetto at the pleasure of its leaders. Israel is not guilty of settling on illegally captured territory instead,, Israel builds on liberated land belonging to the historical commonwealth of Judea and the State of Israel.
It’s time to make very clear Israel’s position on its sovereign borders. They are Jewish and will remain Jewish and will welcome millions of Jews from America and all the lands of their dispersion.
In the meantime,, Western society, Moslem countries and others know that it’s no longer unfashionable or impolite to speak openly of dislike of Jews, and so there can be but one response to their mendacity.
Enough, enough of your false assurances we know you would remain silent should Israel face exstinction tomorrow
