Israel Cries Out for Leadership!

Israel cries out for leadership after 73 years of pragmatic leaders willing to surrender Jewish sovereignty whenever foreign pressure was applied.

Itamar Ben Gvir has repeatedly shown that he will not compromise on the big issues that affect the Jewish State’s well-being.

Ben Gvir’s public life has been that of a pursued individual. No matter what he does, he faces relentless opposition from the Political Left and its media disciples.

Despite his critics, Itamar Ben Gvir refuses to look for the easy way out and canvas the approval of the politically correct class nor pandy to the popular issues of the moment to capture the popular vote.

And he has never sold his nation for personal or dubious advantage. He has repeatedly accepted full responsibility for his actions and those of Otzma Yehudit.

His commitment to Israel and its people is total. This is in stark contrast to his opponents, who watch the polls before deciding on a position and have no shame in changing their position as often as they are swayed by fickle public opinion.

That is not leadership. That’s cheap opportunism. A leader leads his people. He does not blindly follow their desires. No individual has a monopoly on leadership; however, when called on to lead, that individual must summon his courage to lead and, if necessary, oppose the crowd and say no when everyone else is saying yes. That’s leadership, and not showing it is a moral failure.

Itamar Ben Gvir is that leader and Israel cries out for such leadership.

Yosef Yigal Drever and Sylvia Drever co-founded Achdut HaLev in 2006 to reach out to the Jewish community's around the world providing support in learning Torah and promoting the 'Return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel.' Yosef Yigal made Aliya in 2014 while Sylvia his wife is an Israeli. In late 2014 Achdut HaLev concentrated all its resources towards Aliya and the rebuilding of Eretz Yisrael. Excluding none and embracing all. The commandment to settle the Land of Israel is equal in importance to all the Torah Commandments all together: (Sifri Deut 12:29)
