Israel Versus Its Self!

Israeli society is currently in a battle with itself. It is locked in a battle of itself, its past, its future, and the insoluble character of the problems which beset it. As if volunteering to unmask the Jewish problem. This consciousness of themselves challenges who they are and leaves them responsible for solving the Jewish problem.

As a consequence of this national flagelation we have Jews protesting against Judicial Reform while the majority will have never read one word of the proposed reforms currently before the Kenesset. No matter the details are of no consequence in this civil war of ideas. These progressive Jews are possessed of a peculiar self-consciousness verging on an over acute awareness of themselves and their myopic condition. Which is becoming a large element in the Jewish problem. Their ideology has replaced rational thinking, rational debate and rational outcomes for a hope that if they pursue an anti-Jewish position in an intelligent and constructive manner, they will survive the changing demographics Israel is now experiencing. Despite themselves Israel the nation remains a living witness to the triumph of human idealism and willpower over the assimilationist rear guard. The tide is turning and the day of Israels spiritual and political redemption is fast crashing against the reactionary forces that oppose a Jewish State immersed in authentic Jewish values.
