Israel’s Government Falls!
Naftali Bennett announced the fall of his government today. The government will voluntarily dissolve itself next week, after which Yair Lapid will become caretaker Prime Minister until a new government is sworn in.
Bennett, Lapid and Netanyahu wasted no time getting into election mode with all the usual cliches and grandstanding one has come to accept as part and parcel of today’s politics.
The passing of the Bennett Lapid coalition will be mourned by those who embrace woke ideology and fake liberalism. For the rest of us, we can only hope that a truly authentic Jewish government immersed in Jewish values, Jewish history, and Jewish patriotism will replace the failed Bennett Lapid experiment.
While the coalition struggled to deliver a stable and effective government due to the opposing factions and distrust of each other, they have deeply affected the field of civil affairs in the Jewish State for the worst. Still, with the return of a sane government, the damage is not beyond fixing.
We do not have to settle for a relentless, unalterable mechanism that throws up the same sets of opposing riders or unimaginative attitudes every election; instead, as a result of human will, human hopes, and common sense, Israel has a chance to fulfil its destiny and swing the seesaw back towards true Jewish principles and ethics. Otherwise, the swing towards Jewish pride will be impeded once again by new forms of ideological pollution.
Until something better comes, our best chance at achieving a Jewish victory in the next elections can only be achieved through the Religious Zionist party of Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir.
They are the anchor to prevent us from being swept towards false ideas about the present and the future.
At the end of the day, the choice is yours.
