Itamar Ben Gvir, a Lone Voice in the Wilderness!

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir is a lone voice in raising concerns for Israel’s security during the month of Ramadan, when tens of thousands of Arab nationalists will make their way to the Temple Mount, where they will be free to riot against Jewish sovereignty over the Temple Mount, Jerusalem and all the Land of Israel. This only three months after Nationalist Arabs slaughtered some 1,300 Jews and injured more than 4,500 while taking 240 men, women and children hostage to be used as pawns in their conflict with Israel.

The desire on behalf of so many of Israel’s leaders to be liked by the international community prevents them from joining Ben Gvir in taking decisive action to prevent radical Arabs from running amok and causing a Chillul Hashem on the Temple Mount and all this while our young men and women are putting their lives on the line for Israel in Gaza and on Israel’s northern border and confronting Arab violence in Judea and Samaria.

Itamar Ben Gvir is attempting to stop our leaders from making the same mistake they made on October 7 in ignoring the true nature of the enemy within Israel’s borders. The National Security Minister is at pains to warn us of the severe danger to Jewish lives if we fail to deal with the Arab nationalist threat to the very existence of the Jewish State.

Unfortunately, his warnings are falling on deaf ears. Israel’s leaders will not jeopardize American and European support by confronting the Arab threat. All they are doing is putting off the day of reckoning that is surely coming. The Arab powder keg that lies beneath the Jewish enterprise is primed to explode regardless of our reaction to their presence on the Temple Mount.

It’s time to accept the inevitable that Israel has no real support from its so-called allies, and no amount of grovelling at their feet will change their minds on Israel’s future. What are we afraid of? That the West will call us Fascists and enemies of peace? The streets of the West have gone way past those slurs. They are already calling for the destruction of the Jewish State and the gassing of its people.

Itamar Ben Gvir speaks to the problem while others hide their heads in the sand and hope it will all go away!
