Itamar Ben Gvir Under Attack From the Model Society.
Fashion model Bella Hadid has joined the chattering class in condemning Israel National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir over remarks he made recently about the government’s failure to address the wave of terror across Judea and Shomron. Bella Hadid’s father is no stranger to anti-Zionism. While being an outspoken anti-Semite, he has compared Jews to Adolf Hitler. His daughter may wish to condemn her father’s inflammatory remarks on Jews and the Jewish State in the name of consistency. However, I doubt we will see Bella Hadid show moral character. That’s not what this is all about. It’s about bringing the Jewish State into the dock of public opinion, which every day becomes ever louder in its hate for Jews and their country, Israel.
Bella Hadid and her father are in the business of social and psychological engineering. In this case, Arabs are painted as disadvantaged people suffering an affront to their feelings and damaged self-esteem. These two moral judges would have you believe that Israeli society amounts to a systematic assault on the feelings of the excluded. Indeed, the whole of Jewish civilization is being accused of mental cruelty. All in the name of ”political correctness.”
Here, we find ourselves dealing with the other side of Arab terrorism. We may call it ”social sentimentalism,” but its reach extends far beyond the perceived discrimination issues thrown at Itamar Ben Gvir. These anti-Semites package their vitriol as the virtue of compassion. They would have you experience emotion based on images and descriptions of abstract categories. In truth, all unreality is purely sentimental self-indulgence rather than reality. The Hadids of this world peddle the myth that the Arabs in Israel are naturally good and that their evil acts result from misery and desperation induced by a disordered society. This could not be further from the truth. The Arab terrorists that haunt the roads of Israel that Ben Gvir so rightly refers to are nothing more than the product of a political agenda to rid the Middle East of the Jewish State. No, all lives are not equal, nor are they valuable when used to butcher innocent Jewish lives for no other reason than they are Jews. They are crudely indifferent to historical truths and cannot change.
Itamar Ben Gvir spoke the truth unvarnished. He spoke for every Jewish family, even those who are deaf to the reality that confronts the State of Israel.
