It’s Time To Do Away With Pretence!
It’s time to do away with pretence. We are fed up with armchair experts who inhabit the dinner tables of the world, along with international media, academics and politicians who demonise Jews with ease of mind while accusing the Jewish State of crimes against humanity. Never mind, the vast majority of them have never been to Israel or Gaza or ever met a Jew or an Arab or know anything about the history of the Israel – Arab conflict they flippantly pass judgment on. Nor do they care that their words are fiction.
For them, the fake Palestinian terrorists become militants, victims become oppressors, and Israelis become fanatics. Post October 7 was an unmistakable warning if one wants to acknowledge it. The world is confident in parading its refound Jew-hatred through the Capitol cities of the world and stating their desire to gas Jews emulating their grandparents’ murderous accomplishments just 78 years ago.
These Western leftist liberals and their Muslim counterparts have no qualms that Jewish men, women, children and babies were murdered most brutally by the thousands on October 7 in southern Israel for no other reason than being Jews.
Today, Jews are frightened. Jews are afraid in Israel, Their own country. The country that fought four major wars and was victorious in all. The country that shocked the world with its daring escapades at Entebbe and over the Iraqi skies, destroying Sadam Hussein’s Nuclear reactor. These are just a few of Israel’s extraordinary feats over the last 75 years of restored statehood. Is this the reality of our homecoming after 2,000 years? Jews are afraid to confront the Arab problem because it may incite them to violence towards their Jewish neighbours. Whole cities in Israel become Arab, and the Jews throw up their hands and say what can I do? The Arabs will inevitably populate all of Israel.
It is time to do away with the pretence that the Arab enemy is somehow a reasonable partner in the Jewish State’s future. They are not and have never been a partner for peace. They are October 7 in all its ghastly extremes of behaviour.
No, the time has come to wreak vengeance on the Arab enemy and rid ourselves of this malignant growth from the body politic of the Jewish State. Then, fear will disappear from the land of Israel, replaced by quiet confidence in the G-d of Israel.
