Jerusalem Under Attack!

Jerusalem has been under attack for the last two nights, while the Shomron has experienced concerted Arab violence leading to Jewish fatalities.

In the meantime, police are stymied in their response because of insane government guidelines that stop security forces from using their weapons even when under fire from hostile elements unless authorised.

This policy has led to the deaths of IDF and police personnel being shot dead at the hands of nationalist Arabs in recent days.

When will this insanity cease? When will our son’s and daughter’s blood be worth more than the blood of those who wilfully kill and maim Jews for sport?

The answer appears to rest on the upcoming election and the hoped-for victory of the Religious Zionist Party, which would advocate for a shoot-to-kill policy. Itamar Ben Gvir is adamant that the time has come to empower our police and smash the enemy once and for all.

Ben Gvir would be done with laws that perpetuate Arab violence that is a disgrace and stain upon Jewish pride a Hilul HaShem! Be in no doubt should the current leaders of Israel continue in government, the murder of our people will happen again and again in the present and the future.

Now is the time to end the fantasy about an invented people with an invented political struggle where the victimised is portrayed as the victim. Arabs occupying Gaza, Judea, and the Shomron have no claim to the Land of Israel and should be treated accordingly.

Indeed it’s time for genuine Jewish leadership that puts Jews first every time.

The struggle goes on!

Yosef Yigal Drever

Yosef Yigal Drever and Sylvia Drever co-founded Achdut HaLev in 2006 to reach out to the Jewish community's around the world providing support in learning Torah and promoting the 'Return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel.' Yosef Yigal made Aliya in 2014 while Sylvia his wife is an Israeli. In late 2014 Achdut HaLev concentrated all its resources towards Aliya and the rebuilding of Eretz Yisrael. Excluding none and embracing all. The commandment to settle the Land of Israel is equal in importance to all the Torah Commandments all together: (Sifri Deut 12:29)
