Jewish Amnesia would Spell the End of Jewish Existence
The Jewish people cannot afford amnesia nor can they afford forgetfulness if they were to lose their corporate memory they would cease to exist. Yet that is exactly what millions of Jews around the world suffer from today a national amnesia.
This amnesia is a deadly enemy that thrives in an environment of the moment the hear and now that threatens Jewish extinction. This is the diaspora writ large as it saps the vitality of its Jews leaving them exhausted, drained, disorientated, distanced from their Jewish essence.
Shackled to Jewish leadership that is incapable of providing a genuine reason to remain a Jew. These leaders seem to display more vividly than ever the spiritual vacuum of the modern world.
The Jews of the diaspora are undergoing an intensive process of erosion of what it is to be an authentic Jew while their leaders demonstrate neither the heightened awareness nor urgency necessary for turning this trend around before it’s too late for the vast majority.
The diaspora and in many cases the Jewish State itself requires Jewish leadership wholly committed to its people’s survival, leadership that’s open and honest and prepared to reveal Israel’s critical dilemma.
Amidst all this chaos, the Jewish people are required to remember who they are and that they are the last hope of the world.
