Keep Katzrin Jewish—Crucial Municipal Election.
In the ongoing campaign to keep Katzrin Jewish, the upcoming municipal election is taking on—an importance beyond the everyday issues of a municipal election.
There is a stark difference between the two major candidates for Mayor. Current Mayor Dimi Apartsev has an open-door policy for all. Under his watch, he has increasingly seen hundreds if not thousands of non-Jews streaming into Katzrin in the last two years, bringing Christian and Muslim beliefs that run contrary to Judaism while undermining the Zionist ideal that has built a thriving Jewish community over the last 46 years. This foreign influence has seen authentic Jewish values come under attack from LGBTQ activists targeting Katzrin children, with the Apartsev council lending financial support to LGBTQ events. The growing Arab presence poses a threat not only to Jewish values but to Jewish life in Katzrin. It appears that the Apartsev council believes that more is better. More Arabs, more Christians and an assimilated Jewish population.
Poor Jewish sheep are being led down the garden path by assimilationists masquerading as responsible Jewish leaders with their best interests at heart. The totality of their open-door policy is conceived in gentilization and born in foreign concepts. It is time for Jewish self-respect and honour to bring an end to humiliating policies that undermine the Jewish presence in Katzrin.
There is a clear alternative in the mayoral election on October 31st. Yehuda Dua, whose youthful energy and determination honed in the world of business and politics over many years, will bring certainty, pride, and strength back to Katzrins municipal council. A dedicated Jew who loves his country, its people, its traditions and authentic Jewish values. This makes him the standout candidate.
However, without your vote, nothing is certain!
