Political Insanity or Political Liberation the Choice is Yours.

It has become the norm in our times to identify the virtue of citizenship with the democratic spirit, bringing everything down to the vote. This is absurd because a majority choosing to vote one way or another doesn’t make the result legitimate. On the contrary, the good citizen is the one who knows when voting is the wrong way to decide a question, as well as when voting is the right way. For he knows that his obligation to people he has never met may be violated when majority opinion alone decides their fate.

This is the tyranny of the majority, and Israel faces this dilemma on November 1 when the nation goes to the Polls for the fifth time in three years.

There is a chance that Lapid’s Yesh Atid and his leftist comrades will once again bring Israel to the brink of political and social disaster by denying Likud and the Religious Zionists from forming a government of responsibility for the people of Israel.

Lapid is introducing his brand of political insanity into the election, a leftist cocktail of new age marxism and Western degeneracy putting our nation at risk. If successful in their bid to lead the next government, Lapid and his cronies will undoubtedly introduce far-reaching disorders and falsehoods into politics under his watch. The Left would move government almost unnoticeably into fakery as the Jewish State is changed forever in the quest for ’empowerment’. Lapid’s leftist coalition relying on Arab nationalists to stay in power will perpetuate the great liberal illusion.

Israelis may ignore the writing on the wall and believe there is nothing they can do to change their future while their daily cares are more significant than their concerns brought on by distant prospects.

They would be wrong, for political liberation is just a vote away. The much-maligned figure of Itamar Ben Gvir, who has the capacity for defying obstacles by sheer willpower and passionate love for the land of Israel and its people, is capable of moulding the Jewish State into a single coherent picture; and then acting by this picture in a sure-footed, morally confident, firm and supremely effective fashion, responsive to the most pressing needs of our time.

No new age foolery, empty promises, national betrayals, only honest Jewish leadership crowned with common sense, a commodity not so common.

Yosef Yigal Drever and Sylvia Drever co-founded Achdut HaLev in 2006 to reach out to the Jewish community's around the world providing support in learning Torah and promoting the 'Return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel.' Yosef Yigal made Aliya in 2014 while Sylvia his wife is an Israeli. In late 2014 Achdut HaLev concentrated all its resources towards Aliya and the rebuilding of Eretz Yisrael. Excluding none and embracing all. The commandment to settle the Land of Israel is equal in importance to all the Torah Commandments all together: (Sifri Deut 12:29)
