Rabbi Meir Kahane ztl was no Racist!
The word racist has become one of the most overused words in the English language today and is used frequently by the left to shut down legitimate debate and stifle freedom of speech. Today’s thought police use the cloak of Democracy and liberalism to denounce anyone who opposes their socialist authoritarian agenda as a racist and a fascist!
They use these words among others to intimidate and force people to submit to their benighted moral code a code based on immoralism.
Unfortunately, the Jewish State has not escaped the contagion of lies and false truths that have become so much a part of the new Marxist – intellectuals arsenal of deceit. Like some modern-day Spanish Inquisition, they freely destroy innocent people purely for not thinking like them.
Ideology is their weapon of choice at present but it never takes long before the extremist resorts to naked violence in the name of truth.
And so today Israel’s leftist media chooses to define Rabbi Meir Kahane as a Racist while every leftist newspaper, Television programme, radio and social media platform are falling over themselves to outdo each other in denouncing Rabbi Khane as a facist full of hate towards the Arab amongst us and why this sudden outburst of moral indignation. For the answer to that question, you will not have to look far beyond the recent merger of Otzma Yehudit and Bezalel Smotrich’s Religious Zionism Party for the upcoming election in March of this year. Otzma Yehudit is often seen by the left as the child of the banned Kach party of Rabbi Meir Kahane. Kach was barred from running in the 1988 election under the revised Knesset Election Law for allegedly inciting racism.
Nothing could be further from the truth. While the real racists and terrorist threat come from the Arab parties sitting in the Knesset.
Who blatantly call for the dissolution of the Jewish State and its Jewish mandate.
The definition of Racism is the belief that humans possess different behavioural traits corresponding to physical appearance and can be divided based on the superiority of one race over another. It may also mean prejudice, discrimination, directed against other people because they are of a different race or ethnicity.
Rabbi Kahane was not guilty of any of the above and he is not on record preaching racial superiority or promoting discrimination of Arabs quite the contrary.
What he constantly advocated was the establishment of a true Jewish State for the Jews and not a universal democracy. He was one of the few who were honest in pointing out the contradiction inherent in a Jewish State for Jews while at the same time lauding a democratic society for all.
He realized this dichotomy of principles could only exist in a schizophrenic society where authentic Judaism and western values would be forever at loggerhead.
“The liberal west speaks of the rule of democracy, of the authority of the majority, while Judaism speaks of the Divine truth that is immutable and not subject to the ballot box, or to majority error”.
(Rabbi Meir Kahane)
