SOFTMINDEDNESS ALL THE RAGE!
Having seen the German Foreign Minister, the French Ambassador to Israel and the Russian Ambassador to Israel vent their respective government’s opposition to any annexation of territory in Judea and Samaria in the last week we now have the Prime Minister of Britain Boris Johnson join them in condemning any such move on the part of the Sovereign government of Israel to their legal right inherent in international law to proceed with the annexation of the territory in question.
One is left in no doubt that softmindedness and a crippling irrationalism dominates the halls of power around the world not only in regards to Israel but more and more every day in the societal changes taking place in their own countries.
If the governments of the world and their institutions fail to reverse course in this madness, prejudice, half-truths and outright lies they are fermenting their societies will fall victim to cultural and spiritual death and eventually extinction as nation states.
The Europeans in particular and the Americans increasingly choose to rewrite the facts to bolster their aversion to a Jewish State’s right to exist at all.
They give financial and moral support to the very people who institutionalise the murder of Jews while secretly undermining the Jewish peoples right to a sovereign country.
The language increasingly used by those who masquerade as friends of the Jewish people or those who show outright hostility is now inflammatory and caters to the haters amongst us, inevitably leading to acts of meanness and violence towards Jews and the Jewish State and while there is nothing new in this behaviour the reemergence of institutional anti-Semitism can only lead to untold misery for mankind as a whole.
To days state of mind is a malaise not of any one country or ideology but rather the thoughts and emotions of everyday people slaves to a prejudice they do not understand.
It is to be hoped that the power of conscience will win out in the end and defeat inertia so prevalent amongst the silent majority.
Otherwise moral idealism will end in the tribulations of social and political chaos.
