THE HOMELAND FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA
The Homeland our land from the River to the Sea. Hashem gave us this land from the River of Egypt to the Euphrates River. Genesis 15:18). This is our land and we need not apologise for it.
This is an absolute right and no matter how much rewriting of history is undertaken by those who desire an end of the Jewish State and its people we will not accommodate them. Ours is an absolute right and it has never been cancelled and never will.
No Apologies Its Our Land
Our sovereignty over the land is established through our redemption of the Promised Land and without an ongoing commitment to this holiest endeavour our sovereignty will be questioned by the nations and the ongoing return to the land will be put at risk.
With these thoughts in mind, the Jewish people must develop the whole land for the expected mass Aliyah from Europe and eventually America.
We sit on the cusp of a historical moment the Geula (Redemption) when the Ingathering of the Exiles will finally come to fruition.
The Ingathering a Dream Come True
And if we dare to dream the seemingly impossible we will witness the building of the Third Temple and the Redemption in our time.
We must be true to our forefathers Avraham, Yitzhak and Yaakov and when the President of the United States or any other leader offers us recognition be it our capital Jerusalem or our borders North, South, East and West we must make it crystal clear that we don’t require the world powers to bestow their recognition which can so easily be removed should the political climate change in their respective countries but rather state boldly the Torah, Israel and the Jew are one and our claim is not negotiable.
Not Negotiable
In fact, the time has come for all Sunshine Patriots to discard the arguments based on a worldview of the possible and embrace the G-d given declaration this is our land and will remain so despite the efforts of those who would delegitimize the Jewish State and the Jews right to it.
The Rabbi Meir Kahane zt’l taught in his Sefer Or Hara’Ayon page 574; That Israel’s refusal to cling, with faith and trust, to the mitzvah of living in Eretz Yisrael, a mitzvah of equal weight to all others combined, is what has brought about, and, G-d forbid, will bring about, national calamities. Our sages said (Yoma 9B):
Right Then Right Now
Resh Lakish was bathing in the Jordan, and Rabbah bar bar Channah [ who had come from Babylonia to study Torah] came and offered him a hand. Resh Lakish said to him, “I swear that I hate you! [ie., the Jews of Babylonia. Rashi comments, “By not going up to Eretz Yisrael in Ezra’s day, they prevented the Divine Presence from returning and resting on the Second Temple”]. It says, ‘If she be a wall, we will build upon her a silver turret, and if she be a door, we will enclose her with cedar boards’ (Song of Songs 8:9).
Had you come up to Eretz Yisrael like a wall [en masse] in Ezra’s day, you would have been compared to silver, which cannot rot. Now that you have come up to Eretz Yisrael like doors, you are like cedar, which can rot.”
Rabbi Meir Kahane went onto say that; This short-sighted refusal to go up out of exile is the primal sin which blocked the path to final redemption already during the Second Temple period. And the sin of Babylonian Jewry is repeating itself today, as exile Jewry sit tranquilly in a foreign land – Heaven help us – in blind lack of faith and vision.
