The Temple Mount a Question of Sovereignty.

As the new Netanyahu government moves one more step towards taking over the reins of power, the Left and its fellow travellers are beating the drum over perceived or imagined tensions on the Temple Mount.

They accuse the Religious Zionists within the incoming government of fermenting violence and discord amongst the Arab nationalists by threatening the authority of the Wakf administration under Jordanian auspices over the Temple Mount site of the first and second Temples and the future third Temple.

Yes, the potential for confrontation and all-out violence towards Jews is a genuine possibility. However, actions as terribly dangerous as they would be must be taken against the occupiers of sovereign Jewish land and drive out the Arab nationalists and cleanse the Temple Mount.

As Chanukah approaches, we should take stock of who we are and draw upon our Hasmonean ancestors’ resolute strength and faith. What was done once can be done again. The outcome is in our hands, not those of the gentiles who would have us subject to a fake Palestinian people.

The Arab / Western threat and the fate of Israel and world Jewry do not exist in a historical or political vacuum. The Jew, the State and Jewish destiny are part of Creation, and there is a destiny for the Jewish people, whether they like it or not
