THE JERRY & BERNIE SHOW
Yes, we are fixated on the British Labour leader of Her Majesty’s loyal opposition. One Jeremy Corbyn.
You may well ask why we are so vehemently opposed to a long time British activist/politician.
The answer to that question lies in the dark recess of recent history. Corbyn like so many of his generation inherited the new toleration post-holocaust for the Jews that was ultimately a catalyst for the establishment of the Jewish State in the Land of Israel.
Dark History
Anti-Semitic feelings endured laying dormant not far from the surface to find expression in opposing the State of Israel’s right to exist. Over the years this sanitised form of anti-Semitism has allowed familiar antagonists but also more recently establishment figures to condemn the Jewish State and question the moral position of Jews on a raft of subjects.
Corbyn, like so many other politicians, academics, media guru’s and others of recent times have fomented bitter debate over Israel’s right to exist and raised the spectre of anti-Semitism to a level not seen since the Holocaust seventy-three years ago.
Politics as a Means to Hate
By employing the conjuring trick of linking anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism these soldiers of political correctness have conflated the two into becoming a legitimate means of attack against Jews everywhere.
So why single out Jeremy Corbyn for special attention. Well unlike the vast majority of Jew haters, Corbyn may well be the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom…implementing policy’s detrimental to the Jewish State and marginalising the Jewish community in Britain.
A Corbyn victory would give licence to those who had previously suppressed their anti-Semitic tendency’s to become vocal in their opposition of the State of Israel and critical of British Jews supporting what they see as an apartheid state.
A free debate would become more and more the privilege of the anti-Zionists with little toleration towards those who would defend the Jewish State.
Tolerance for Some
What is considered the rantings of the political fringes are moving towards the centre of debate and Corbyn is very much responsible for bringing this situation about.
The dilemma for Britain’s Jews is that under a Corbyn led government they may no longer be able to identify as a Jew without cutting all ties to Israel.
Bernie Sanders Backlash
It’s not too much of a stretch of the imagination to see a Bernie Sanders sweep to victory in the next U.S. Presidential campaign in the wake of a Jeremy Corbyn U.K. victory.
It Could Well Happen
This could well happen as a backlash against the Donald Trump years as Trump benefited from the Obama tenure.
Sanders is the American Corbyn and more dangerous for the Jewish State than Corbyn could ever be.
Food for thought.
