Uncle Sam Thanks but No Thanks. We will Handle This!

Israel does not need to vindicate its military response in Gaza. Nor does it have to justify using every means to eliminate the Hamas enemy and all who support its murderous actions.

This extends to Iran, the biggest threat to Israel’s existence and world stability, as they sponsor the callous killers of October 7 and pursue their desperate race to possess military nuclear weapons.

October 7 should have been a wake-up call to the civilised world. Instead, the majority make pretty speeches like September 11 while abstaining from categorically condemning the heinous assault on the Jewish State. Let us drop the empty sentimentality and face the reality that we live in an ever-increasingly impervious, egotistic and parsimonious world.

America’s President comes to Israel professing undying love for the Jewish people, comforting us with false promises of supporting Israel’s Gaza offensive when, in fact, they are doing everything to stifle a victorious response and put our Northern border at risk. Not for the first time does Uncle Sam demand we absorb the first blow and be patient as the fatalities of our soldiers mount daily. We have your back. Yes, they do, and it will prove an uncomfortable position to be in during the coming days.

After 2,000 years of Western hospitality, we have inherited insecurities, complexes, and guilt. We begin to believe our enemies slanders. We lose our self-respect and crave the love of a hating world.

Enough of this nonsense. Israel needs to make a statement. There is nothing immoral about a Jewish Army winning and nothing noble about showing mercy to the wicked of this world. Here and now, we must reject the accusations of immoral behaviour thrown at us by the morally bankrupt of this world. We can no longer afford to timidly defend ourselves under the watchful eye of our erstwhile allies who clandestinely support the fake Palestinian people.

Let this be a catchcry over all of Israel. ‘ No more Gaza’s, no more appeasement, no more fear.

We must lay claim to what is rightfully ours.

Yosef Yigal made Aliya in 2014 while Sylvia his wife is an Israeli. In late 2014 Achdut HaLev concentrated all its resources towards Aliya and the rebuilding of Eretz Yisrael. Excluding none and embracing all. The commandment to settle the Land of Israel is equal in importance to all the Torah Commandments all together: (Sifri Deut 12:29)
