We are All Hostages Now!

Israel is fast becoming a country of hostages as the Jewish State relinquishes its sovereignty to the Biden administration in Washington. How did it come to this? The answer is a very long article in its own right. Suffice it to say over the years; successive Jewish governments have succumbed to American intimidation and a growing belief that the Jewish State can no longer survive without America’s protection.

Israel’s leaders have forgotten how to lead. They talk incessantly about destroying Hamas, defeating Hezbollah, and confronting Iran head-on. Unfortunately, the reality is very different. The Israel of 48, 67, and 73 is evaporating before our eyes, and soon, the enemy will realise the new reality on the ground. Then all hell will break loose. This is taking place in a vacuum created by Biden and his Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who emphasise that the main issue to freeze an effective Israeli response to Gaza and the northern border is not one of principle…but rather one of method, timing and whether the present moment is opportune or not. Reminding Netanyahu and co of the dangers involved in having all three fronts at Israel’s throat at once, they point out the positive signs for offering an olive branch piecemeal to the vicious butchers of Israel’s people. All this is leading to Israel’s citizens becoming permanent hostages to American and Iranian self-interest.

Israel’s decision to compromise is the worst of both worlds and will lead to a permanent state of siege. No country that wishes to remain independent can countenance such a self-defeating policy.

As Netanyahu gasps his last political breath and stymies his inner war cabinet from delivering a crushing blow to the country’s enemies, Israel’s future will inevitably be compromised.

Israel needs to see the back of these appeasers once and for all and demand authentic Jewish leadership accountable to none other than the Jewish people and the Jewish Land.
