What does U.S. President-Elect Joseph Biden Jr have in Common with French Revolutionary Leader Maximilien Robespierre?
The answer to that question is to be found in their political destinies. Citizen Robespierre after climbing his way to the top of the French Revolutionary government was to eventually be brought down by his political confidants over their conflicting vision of an ideal Republic and his indifference to the human cost of realising that vision.
Maximilien Robespierre was executed by guillotine before a cheering crowd in the Place de la Revolution on July 28, 1794.
Only one year before Robespierre had been elected President by a vote of 216 out of 220 members of the National Convention. He was at his zenith of power from that moment he was under siege from those who desired a very different Republic the rest is history and that brings us to U.S. President-Elect Joseph Robinette Biden Jr who’s election is under a cloud of suspicion with accusations of fraudulent voting irregularities. Be that as it may, there seems no reason why the result of the November election will not stand.
What is in question is the longevity of his first term in office. The storm clouds are already gathering around him and no longer is the opposition coming solely from those in the Republican party and conservative commentators but more dangerously for him the up an till now partisan media who did so much to get him elected is now taking aim at Biden and co.
The ‘cat is just about out of the bag’, the Socialist Left of the Democratic party is currently preparing for an all-out attack on the conservatives of the Democrats and that includes Joe Biden.
The socialists and their allies in the media having fought a war to delegitimize the Trump administration over the last four years is now mounting an attack to stigmatize a future Biden Presidency in favour of a Kamala Harris administration.
Why? firstly the Socialists don’t embrace dissenters in their midst nor do they favour freedom of expression especially when the thoughts expressed run contrary to their single-minded ideology. They are dedicated to cultural conformity where good is evil and evil is good. This is right out of the Adolf Hitler playbook. They promote deviancy of every kind and normal behaviour and feelings are rendered pathological. The new Socialists abhor white male heterosexuals as oppressors immersed in white privilege and Joe Biden epitomizes this stereotype.
The Socialist Left need to remove Biden and replace him with there candidate Kamala Harris to effectively realise their socialist agenda for America. Should they be successful in removing Biden from office they will set about amending, transforming and if necessary destroying the principles of the founding fathers. These ideologues are committed to the overthrow of America’s constitutional Republic and see themselves in a battle for social control of society.
Robespierre had a slender opportunity to avoid the guillotine in 1794 he could have garnered support from the Commune movement but for one reason or another he failed to take advantage of any effective force that could have changed his fate.
Joe Biden will have a similar opportunity to save his Presidency should he decide to strike first and mount a campaign to eliminate the radicals within the Democratic Party root and branch. He would need to crush the secular reformers, the politically correct intellectuals, the liberators, social revolutionaries – these are the elements that must be rooted out if his Presidency is to survive While doing so he would need to win over the politically correct media to his side by going over the heads of the media celebritys and appealing to Corporate America for assistance in destroying their politically correct agenda.
Should he choose to do nothing or just tinker around the edges he will suffer the same fate as Robespierre minus the guillotine.
The fate of America and much of the world rides on his ability to act decisively!
