When is a Double Standard not a Double Standard
When you are a leftist leaning US Democrat. The indignation and rage we are hearing from the lapdog media and every socialist member of the United States Senate and House of Representatives over the rightly condemned violent aftermath of the ill-advised January 6 March to Save America.
Yet these paragons of virtue appear to be suffering from amnesia at best at worse they are suffering from mendacity and lots of it. They have forgotten that it was their leftist inspired assault on American Democracy and its institutions including the office of the President over the last four years that have brought America to the brink of disaster.
The cultural Bolsheviks and their allies in the media and Big tech have promoted turbulence and contention at every opportunity. Weening America of its core values and replacing them with the socialist nightmare.
These opportunists have one goal to overturn the principles of the founding fathers. As well as changing the rules of the game in pursuit of destroying the constitutional republic. They hanker for entitlement and covet naked power having been unsuccessful in acquiring the trappings of power in their private lives they now want unearned power without any of the accountability that normally would go with the privilege they lust for.
Be in no doubt these amoral socialists have declared war on mainstream America and its natural rights. They seek vengeance of perceived wrongs and after Wednesday, 20 January 2021 they will be in a position to realise their dream of vengeance. What can their future victims do to stop them? At present nothing, the would-be victims of political correctness have no one to defend them now that President Trump has lost all credibility and soon all the power he once had at his disposal albeit constitutional power.
The sad reality is that the vast majority of the American people will willingly surrender their liberty’s for the protection of the State rather than be harassed with convulsions and disorder of a State-inspired upheaval.
By stealth and cajoling the government will have succeeded in appropriating the people’s loyalty and obedience.
Such will be the turn of events unless the conservative wing of the Democrat party moves to suppress the radicals amongst them.
