Woke Thought Erodes The Moral Life!
I have been contemplating the contemporary moral sensibility in terms of leftist liberal ideas dominating Western civilization, best known today as woke thought. These radical changes in moral attitudes must, by definition, involve fundamental changes in political life. The wokesters worldview believes in banishing rationality from their new society and replacing it with pure emotion reflected in whatever they think is the only reality the new society can condone. The more outrageous, the better. These radicals aim to mobilize their fellow citizens to participate voluntarily, if possible, in an insane collective enterprise designed to overthrow the existing values of realism for a sentimental radicalism directed at an image rather than reality.
These woke ideologues are determined to take on anything they believe stands in their way of achieving a more comprehensive program that would transform the human condition. A case in point is the LGBTQ movement, which has quickly become part of the mainstream. Society is lectured daily about their high moral ambitions while they pervert human society.
Our universities have become the incubator for the unmitigated stupidity and incomprehension of what is happening in the business, politics, education and media world. The lack of elementary common sense has become the norm of everyday life. Common sense gets lost when intellectuals are bewitched by a fanciful new vocabulary bent on destroying national authenticity.
The fools think their new ism will have a different outcome from all previous isms. In the long run, the new left ideologue’s ideas cannot survive their encounter with reality while they insist on propagating their endless absurdity. The result can only bring misery and pain to human society while they have the power to transform the human condition.
Unfortunately, the left has highjacked the agenda in the form of rights. It is currently entrenching the desired transformation of society in our legal and international structures beyond the easy reach of repeal.
If the West is to survive, it must radically remove the woke agenda from its institutions and places of higher learning.
It’s time the silent majority found its voice before it finds itself cancelled.
