Australia Enters the Age of Terror !
I have deliberately held off commenting on the deadly Terror attack at the iconic Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, during a Chanuka candle lighting event last Sunday, out of respect for the 15 dead Jews and their families. This tragic assault on innocent men, women, and children of all ages has hopefully brought to the attention of Australians the enormous problems they face, along with the rest of the world.
Australia’s media, government, and a large section of its population have shown an obsessive focus on demonising Israel while whitewashing the Arab nationalist killers of Gaza since October 7 2023. Their actions have been heartless, not only to Jews but also to their own citizens who still believe in the country’s traditional values and care for their fellow countrymen.
They are, unfortunately, the victims of their own government’s ideological agenda, who, even after the bloody slaughter at Bondi Beach, cannot bring themselves to admit failure and culpability in the wake of the worst mass shooting in Australia since the Port Arthur attack that left 35 people dead in 1996.
The Labour government must move beyond ideology, beyond doctrinaire views and abandon its partisan support for the fake Palestinian cause. They need to cease indulging simplistic slogans when dealing with the Middle East, and in particular, the Jewish State. The situation Israel finds itself embroiled in is far too complex to be left to the ideologues and abstract armchair philosophers who would willingly sacrifice a people and a country to their Jew-Hatred.
Suffice to say, Australia’s future is bleak and for Jews, untenable as its government is prepared to sacrifice the majority and accommodate a growing foreign element that has no desire to assimilate but rather convert the existing order into a society based on the Koran.
Unfortunately, Australia’s leaders, like their counterparts in the West, are incredibly mediocre, corrupt, deceptive and amoral, and that’s being kind to say the least.
She’ll be right, mate! Just doesn’t cut the mustard anymore!
