Jewish Amnesia !

Jewish amnesia is far too common in the disappearing Diaspora, with Jewish liberals rarely allowing the facts to get in the way of their myopic view of Jewish life in foreign lands. No matter what, they choose to hide their Jewish identity in fear of enraging their gentile hosts while clamouring for more and more financial aid in providing security for Jewish schools and often synagogues that are coming under attack from their gentile neighbours. He does not realise that a new reality has taken hold of gentile society, reflecting the fragile environment that threatens to return the Jew to the ghetto from whence he came not long ago. In this state of cultural amnesia, he can’t recognise that hostile waves of Jewish hatred surround him. His humiliation is plain for all to see, but he does not see, for he has chosen Jewish amnesia.

These forgetful Jews reject the meaning of 1948, having lived under gentile favour for so long, they cannot recognise that the dream of two thousand years has been realised, and a Jewish State exists in the Land of Israel. A Jewish State, the only place where a Jew can truly stand upright with dignity and Jewish memory pervades his every waking hour.

Fortunately, Jewish amnesia is curable, and hope for their return to Jewish sanity can be achieved in Israel as a Nation in the Land!
