Real Leadership at Risk from Extinction !
Real leadership is currently at risk of extinction, going the way of the woolly mammoth. Common sense, in this sense, is akin to oxygen; the higher you go, the thinner it gets. Today’s leaders are infected with a malaise of no can-do if it hurts you, or more to the point, if it hurts their electability. The Macrons and Starmers of this world find themselves out of their depth, immersed in great power yet unable to embrace the great responsibility they owe their people to deliver a duty of care that their governments should, without reservation, provide. Instead, they do dumb things.
These inadequate leaders pretend to possess unlimited aspirations, while in reality, they have limited capabilities. They have chosen what’s imagined over what’s real in their dealings with inappropriate immigration, cultural negation, gender diversity and military impotence, to name just a few of their insane obsessions.
The West’s leaders today find themselves in constant friction as their harebrained ideas collide with reality. They are now prisoners of their own making, locked into a death spiral from which they can’t escape, as they reject logic and leadership. All that’s left now is the coming of the woolly mammoth.
