Rafah is in Play! Israel Throws the Dice!
After much talk and handwringing, Israel finally moves on Rafah. What that move may entail is yet to be seen. What is in no doubt is the necessity to eliminate all Hamas personnel and its supporters. The challenges facing Israel as it mounts an offensive action must be overcome if the State is to avoid a tidal wave of world condemnation and, in particular, American malfeasance.
Since October 7, the perpetrators of the pogrom have gone from terrorists to militants, and their victims have become the oppressors, no matter if it is pure fiction. What matters to Israel’s enemies is it serves Arab nationalist aggression towards Jews and allows the world’s Jew haters to hijack the moral high ground.
At the heart of the conflict is the threat to world stability as Iran desperately races to complete its military nuclear program. The leaders of the Islamic Republic have made it very clear that they intend to ”wipe Israel off the map”. If the Jewish State is to survive, Rafah must be brought to heel. There is nothing immoral about winning and certainly nothing virtuous in losing.
Israel must draw a Red Line in the sand and cease offering concessions in order to appease the United States and Europe in order to reach an agreement with a non-existent Palestinian people who will never agree to Israel’s right to exist.
Jewish timidity in defending themselves must stop in Rafah if we as a people are going to survive and prosper and grow the miracle of Return while settling all of the land of Israel.
In Rafah, the culprits and cold-blooded murderers of October 7 must be annihilated, their bones crushed, and their names expunged from human discourse.
The dice have been thrown…!
