The Lights have turned to Amber !

The lights have turned to amber and are about to go green in the ongoing Iran saga. American power and Israeli know-how have the capability to inflict destruction not seen since the air campaigns over German cities during WWII. Should they choose to unleash their military might, all bets are off; we will have entered unknown territory. While it is highly unlikely that China would contemplate a direct attack on American assets on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran, it could roll the dice on Taiwan while the U.S. is preoccupied with the mullahs. Should that happen, the world will have entered the place of no return.

It’s more likely, however, that China would stay on the sidelines playing devil’s advocate where and whenever possible. America and China would do well to contemplate history’s judgment of empires’ past, as they all eventually confront the reality that no nation is invincible and all are subject to decay.

None of this should detract from the necessity for Israel and America to defeat the Iranian threat to world peace once and for all. Iran will not go quietly and will ultimately bring about international implosion.
