3,000 Years of Jewish Activism. Why?

The purpose of three thousand years of Jewish activism was not to preserve the diaspora from extinction but rather to bring it to an end by returning to Eretz Israel and settling every inch of Jewish land. Thus, it establishes a political reality, a historical fact, and a spiritual and religious truth. This Return of Israel to the Promised Land is the central event in the Jewish experience of universal proportions, establishing peace and order in the world.

1948 heralded the end of exile for Israel and the establishment of the State of Israel. A new era began. To ignore this reality and continue with the exile in foreign lands is to perpetuate the passive role of an expiratory victim, now so clearly seen post-October 7, 2023, caught in the maelstrom of Jew-Hatred worldwide. No longer residing in the fringe groups of hate but rather taking on the clothes of respectability, successfully demonising the State of Israel and, by extension, the Jewish people as a whole.

It is time for the Jewish people to recognise their mission and act upon it if humanity is to survive. The mission can only succeed with the extinction of the Diaspora and the return of its people to Israel. If they ignore the crisis afflicting the modern world, turning a blind eye to the moral, cultural, spiritual and political aspects of the danger ahead, they will be condemning their families to an uncertain future.

No matter how much Diaspora leaders reassure their fellow Jews that all is well and the current upheavals will be short-lived, they will be proven wrong by history and current trends that are festering cancer residing in a diseased body.

From Australia to Europe, the malady of hate and a growing desire to eliminate the Jewish people from the face of the earth is becoming a part of mainstream thought.

Nevertheless, while Western civilisation continues on its descent into the abyss of decadence and self-destruction, the Jews returned to their land offers a branch of hope for the regeneration and reconstruction of society as a whole.

Yosef Yigal Drever

Yosef Yigal Drever and Sylvia Drever co-founded Achdut HaLev in 2006 to reach out to the Jewish community's around the world providing support in learning Torah and promoting the 'Return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel.' Yosef Yigal made Aliya in 2014 while Sylvia his wife is an Israeli. In late 2014 Achdut HaLev concentrated all its resources towards Aliya and the rebuilding of Eretz Yisrael. Excluding none and embracing all. The commandment to settle the Land of Israel is equal in importance to all the Torah Commandments all together: (Sifri Deut 12:29)
