Israel at a Crossroad in its History!

Israel is at a crossroads in its short modern history as it confronts two hostile parties. Firstly, it’s fast crumbling relationship with the United States under the Obama administration, and now the Biden Presidency displaying a lack of clarity in its national interests, resolution, and the appeasement of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

American foreign policy is becoming a threat to Israel’s geopolitical situation and cause for concern since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 and the Iranian offensive of April 13th have seen the U.S. take a more aggressive diplomatic stand towards Israel’s independence of action while mollifying Iran at every turn. The U.S. obsession to avoid confrontation with Iran, China, and Russia may well be leading to a strategic crisis in the region with negative consequences for the West.

President Bidens demands that Israel not re-act to Iran’s declaration of war can only encourage Iran to inflict more terror on Israel, knowing that America will do nothing to support Israel in hitting back. The U.S., in reality, expects Israel to succumb to terror. As America limply faces Iran, its future in the Middle East looks decidedly fragile. America under Biden is demoralized and no longer believes in its mission as the world’s policeman. For Israel, the best they can expect from a Democratic Presidency is to make more concessions while accepting ambiguous verbal assurances from the Oval Office.

The second hostile party, Iran, is plain and simply working towards a nuclear weapon with the express purpose of annihilating the Jewish State from the face of the earth. If anyone harboured doubts as to Iran’s deadly rhetoric, they should be laid to rest after Iran’s failed attack on the State of Israel this week.

With G-d’s help, Israel must act in its own self-interest as a nuclear Iran becomes inevitable, and the downfall of America, along with the collapse of Europe, become cataclysmic factors in the fate of people who are too weak and too frightened to save themselves.
