Israel v America !

Israel is deeply aware of how deep the fracture runs in Israel-American relations, which at times finds the United States and Israel’s self-interest at loggerheads. In fact, it’s the American elites who have activated this schizophrenic foreign policy regarding the Jewish State, a toxic brew of double standards for Israel on the one hand, and another set of moral equivalents for the terrorist states surrounding it and those living within Israel’s borders. Add to this that America is currently politically dysfunctional. At the same time, the Democrats and Republicans align at polar extremes on nearly every issue and seem to have only hate for each other. The once bipartisan stance on Israel no longer exists and has been replaced by a growing opposition towards the Jewish State by both Democrats and an increasing number of Republicans.

That is the state in which Americans and Israelis now find themselves, and we can expect more of the same in the future as the anti-Israel sentiment takes hold of America’s young. At the same time, they surrender to moral dissolution and reject the very values that made America great.

This state of affairs has contributed to the negative direction the America-Israel relationship has taken over recent decades, as the hostility and repugnance the Jewish State evokes in U.S. universities, traditional media, and today’s social platforms and halls of power so clearly show.

With all this in mind, Israel can no longer hope for a change in American thinking or be taken in by American double talk; instead, Israel must look at the actions and not be fooled by empty gestures and mere words.

In the near future, the Jewish State will have to confront an America poised to inflict a Palestinian state upon it. If not stopped, America will have established a terror state within Israel’s borders.
