We are at war for G-d sake !

The Judicial reform protesters of 2022 – 2023 are back on the streets of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, calling for the return of the remaining October 7 hostages while challenging the government’s legitimate right to sack the head of the Shin Bet Ronen Bar and stop the renewed military action in Gaza. Anyone with an objective mind knows the protestors have highjacked the legitimate concerns of those family members who still have relatives captive in Gaza for their political agenda. These forces of dissent are prepared to use any means necessary to bring down an elected government regardless of the cost to the country.

While accusing the government led by Binyamin Netanyahu of trampling on democracy and the abuse of Israel’s judiciary, it is they who are guilty of the tyranny of the minority doing all in their power to manipulate public feeling and opinion. They have deliberately created an environment of discontent in the hope of smashing political sovereignty in Israel. The Left-leaning elitists seek to centralise power within the Judicial leadership, curtailing the governed’s genuine liberty and securing absolute authority over society. Equality of the right to oppress is not equivalent to liberty, nor does consent to the loss of freedom somehow miraculously preserve it merely by being universal or by consent.

If the unelected elites are allowed to suppress a government’s right to govern in the name of the people, then the country will be subject to the abrogation of civil liberties by some unelected officials through a court of review sovereign by its own decree.

We are at war, for G-d sake, and unfortunately, not just with the murderers of October 7.
