Israel is in Limbo !
Israel is in limbo, caught between a rock and a hard place, its government struggling to appease those calling for the return of the October 7 hostages at any cost, while defending its military strategy in the face of an opportunistic opposition and at the same time, well aware that failure to destroy Hamas would bring into question the Jewish States reason to exist ergo the Netanyahu government.
Over the last eighteen months, the hostages in Gaza have increasingly become the conflict’s rationale, overshadowing the larger picture that Israel is at war for its very survival, confronting sworn enemies on at least four fronts while they fight a diplomatic war around the world and their nemesis, the United Nations.
In the meantime, excluding the hostages’ families who, for obvious reasons, cannot be expected to separate themselves from the tragic circumstances in which they find their loved ones, we see daily many of our fellow Jews divorce themselves from the stark reality confronting Israel today, prepared to forsake Israels future for some short term goals. Prefering to believe in gentile Liberal thought rather than authentic Jewish thought that has stood the test of time, they eventually become disillusioned, weakened by the ghetto mentality, causing weakness of spirit and character. Weakness that persuades the Jew to believe that which yesterday he knew to be nonsense. He is now prepared to believe any illusion that allows him to escape his inner nightmare and believe he can live in peace with murderers, sadists and Jew Haters. These bankrupt thoughts should have been shattered on the killing fields of October 7 forever. Instead, they have reawakened in many Jews their need to escape the confines of being Jewish.
The time has come for all thinking Jews to decide where they stand on the issues above!
