The Hashemite Kingdom is in its Dying Days…

The Hashemite Kingdom is in its dying days amidst growing turmoil and discontent amongst the non-Hashemite majority. If one looks closely, one can see the re-emergence of Islamist thinkers merging with the underground political activists who tentatively criticise the excesses and failures of the Hashemite rulers with scriptural arguments about the need for more divinely inspired governance advocating the formation of an Islamic theocracy superseding the existing Kingdom.

The Islamists vilify the Hashemites and Israel alike, taking great care to avoid being swept up by the Jordanian security services. They draw on their vision of a Jordan free of the Hashemites by opportunistic terrorist acts. King Abdullah reacts cautiously in suppressing the Ismalist political movements, which they accuse of undermining modernization and national unity, careful not to insight the already hostile population into open rebellion.

The Hashemites have been on shaky ground ever since the British in 1922 put the puppet Abdullah, the great-grandfather of the present King Abdullah, on the throne. It was a puppet state that the British ruled completely. Today, Abdullah owes his throne to the Americans and Israel.

This is gris for the mill antagonising the majority non-Hashemites. The time is fast approaching when Arab Islamist-Nationalists cast off their fear of the police state and their dreams of power move toward realization.

This outcome will prove to be very dangerous for the United States and, in particular, the Jewish State.

Its time for the Jordanian Royal family to book their suites at the Dorchester!

Yosef Yigal Drever and Sylvia Drever co-founded Achdut HaLev in 2006 to reach out to the Jewish community's around the world providing support in learning Torah and promoting the 'Return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel.' Yosef Yigal made Aliya in 2014 while Sylvia his wife is an Israeli. In late 2014 Achdut HaLev concentrated all its resources towards Aliya and the rebuilding of Eretz Yisrael. Excluding none and embracing all. The commandment to settle the Land of Israel is equal in importance to all the Torah Commandments all together: (Sifri Deut 12:29)
