American Friendship: A Rare Commodity!
As Israel continues to fight in Gaza and on its Northern Borders with Lebanon and Syria, the question arises: how much can Israel rely on American friendship and solidarity?
During Barack Obama’s Presidency, hostility towards the Jewish State had only grown till it became full-blown hate in the current Biden-Harris administration.
United States diplomacy towards Israel and its enemies is primarily based on a ”neutral” peace process with the fake Palestinian people and a failed military policy of containment of Iran and its proxies, denying Israel the ability to defeat its internal and external enemies. The United States relentlessly pushed Israel to make concessions towards Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon while turning a blind eye towards Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
American self-interest is expected to take priority over Israel’s self-interest as the U.S. displays a lack of clarity regarding its interests, resolution and a leaning towards European foreign policy embracing the establishment of ”Palestine”. Israel’s geopolitical situation is taking a beating from U.S. foreign policy that is more of a menace than the immediate Hamas threat. The U.S. demands with ever-increasing insistence that Israel refrain from military action that would bring security to the region and defeat the enemies of Israel and the West. U.S. friendship is fast becoming a rare commodity in the Middle East unless you happen to be the Islamic Republic of Iran and its proxies.
America’s obsession with keeping Iran onside may well trigger a conflagration that brings the end of the ‘Pax America’ and the loss of friends.
Israel needs to understand it is friendless and prepare for the coming onslaught.
