Ehud Barak has no Shame!

Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak has called on Israelis to “protest outside the Knesset day and night.” Till they bring down the elected Netanyahu government. Shades of the nationwide protests against judicial reform from January 7 to October 12 2023. In reality, the Judicial reforms were a figleaf to disguise the true motivation for overthrowing an elected government that displeased the Left in Israel and the Biden administration in Washington. Back then, Ehud Barak was a willing mouthpiece for the Left, and today, he has attempted to resurrect the movement against the legitimate government of Israel from the ashes of October 7. Even while hostages remain in Hamas captivity, Israel’s young men and women are fighting to preserve the Jewish State itself. This man has no shame, and he should no longer be given any credibility in his actions, nor should his words be taken seriously.

The fact that the Judicial reform protests contributed to the October 7 disaster and are now back on the Left’s agenda shows Ehud Barak and company are ignorant of the long-term consequences of the October 7 reality, or worse; they don’t care. Only a return to power by any means motivates these self-serving have been’s.

It’s time the likes of Ehud Barak and his fellow travellers were shown the door so that the fragile unity amongst our people should continue to grow while the government strives to maintain the nation’s independence and guard the country’s security and defence.

After the conflict, there will be plenty of time to take stock of the nation’s future direction. Till then, those who would use the tragedy of October 7 to undermine the present government should be seen for the irrelevant anachronism they have become.
