Iran a Perilous Illusion
The West’s obsession to accommodate the Islamic Republic’s drive towards a nuclear military capability while at the same time refusing to acknowledge publicly Iran’s intention to get the ‘Bomb’ is a perilous illusion on the part of the West. Its because the Europeans and Biden’s America refuse to question their own judgement of the facts and prefer to ignore the all too obvious warning signs preferring indifference and inertia while suffering the political equivalent of the mental block. This lack of judgement can only lead to a lethal embrace of mutual destruction.
The West refuse to face the threat posed by a nuclear-armed Iran as long as that threat remains isolated and directed towards the Jewish State. The one constant we can be sure of is the new radical socialists, will continue to promote a strident pacifist line, coupled with assurances that an ancient cultured society like Iran would never contemplate the horrors of a nuclear conflagration and as such should reject the rantings of the Zionist elements in their midst.
Politicians of a certain ilk along with writers, thinkers, academicians and media talking heads despite all the evidence to the contrary will shout from the rooftops, “down with warmongers and all those who disagree with us”.
They are emphatic that Iran poses no threat to peace and the only danger comes from the likes of Israel’s Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu spreading panic with the aim of dragging the West into war.
The new-age intellectual elite, identity socialists will do everything to legitimate doing nothing when it comes to opposing an evil regime bent on a war for they no longer can tell the difference between evil and goodness.
They have succumbed to the depravity of their empty ideologies and are conspicuous for their lack of any virtue whatever. They are the new Babylon.
They would rather believe the repressive Ayatolas comforting reassurances of their commitment to a peaceful world without nuclear weaponry than that of a long-serving Prime Minister of a trusted Allie. Why because “Netanyahu is not quite one of us.”
America and its allies seem unaware that a large section of Iran’s population thinks of war with the decadent West as a holy exercise, and death in battle as the ultimate fate for a Muslim. Iran is in the grip of religious intolerance and unrestrained hate for anyone who opposes their brand of Islam.
Add to that the Obama / Biden and now Biden / Harris administrations obsession with achieving a non-adversarial engagement between Iran and the West and taking advantage of converging interest while at the same time ameliorate their divergent interests you have a recipe for Israel’s exclusion from the table. It should not be misunderstood the breach between Netanyahu’s Israel and Biden’s America is complete.
A perilous illusion indeed!
