Israel’s Political and Spiritual Revolution Continues…

We cannot stress more the importance of the ongoing political and spiritual revolution taking place in Israel today. It is a tragic appreciation of the baseness and corruption imposed on the Jewish people by its historical development. The need for a spiritual and political endeavour, which will empower the Jewish people to liberate itself from the values of the Exile. This can never just be a political process but rather a spiritual and political revolution.

The Israel foreseen by the Jewish prophets will become a reality as it overcomes the terrible legacies of Exile. The spiritual and political revolution will see the Jewish State no longer dependent on outside powers for its existence as it reclaims its sovereignty. Till this is accomplished Israel’s defensive capability will not be autonomous but politically dependent on outside sources. This outside support will always be conditional, and in the long run, there will be no permanent allies.

In recent times Israel has seen how its interests and that of the United States run contrary to each others self-interest. The reality is pragmatic and limited interests with America. The U.S. has never fully committed itself, nor will it ever do so, to stand with Israel when the interests of both nations diverge from each other.

The prime importance must now be the spiritual and political revolution providing a firm foundation built on authentic Jewish values in the country. All else is empty rhetoric and strategic and political weakness.

The current situation of a psuedo political independence and sovereignty is of deep religious significance for the state and one that must be addressed before the nation can capitalise on the aspirations of May 14, 1948. The revolution is critical for this outcome.

Yosef Yigal Drever and Sylvia Drever co-founded Achdut HaLev in 2006 to reach out to the Jewish community's around the world providing support in learning Torah and promoting the 'Return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel.' Yosef Yigal made Aliya in 2014 while Sylvia his wife is an Israeli. In late 2014 Achdut HaLev concentrated all its resources towards Aliya and the rebuilding of Eretz Yisrael. Excluding none and embracing all. The commandment to settle the Land of Israel is equal in importance to all the Torah Commandments all together: (Sifri Deut 12:29)
