The Erosion of Institutions and Values a Very Western Sickness!
The elites of the West continue to unleash their hatred for the nation-state and desire to destroy its sense of belonging. These new-age Marxists no longer hide their intentions behind a facade of historical continuity but openly profess the total separation and isolation of their fellow citizens from each other, their nation’s history, culture, and traditional values, leading to a mutual hostility for each other.
They believe the idea of community, while attractive, is no longer relevant in a multicultural, multi-value world where you, the citizen, have to accommodate a host of people with totally different values from yours. There is no room for a precise social code when all moral-social values have been reduced to the level of the gutter.
If society were to take a step back from the current moral implosion that threatens its very existence, it would have to confront big government, which does not embody a sense of community but threatens it.
Given our benign and co-operative relations with our fellow citizens, we become instead functions of the state and are reduced to pressure groups pushing their self-interest. These segments of the population become engaged in a destructive social war against each other as they endeavour to capture access to a government controlling massive resources and coercive power. The bottom line for the West is that big governments constitute a significant threat to their societies.
