A Nuclear Iran is the Most Pressing Issue this Century! But Who Cares ?

There is so much background noise in today’s world as nations grapple with their societies’ survival, and the stench of war hovers over the world, forewarning of cataclysms to come. That we overlook the most pressing issue this century confronts in the soon-to-be Nuclear-armed Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran is on the verge of delivering the apocalypse feared for centuries. Yet the world’s politicians behave like it’s just another day managing world affairs. How wrong they are. In the end, these inadequate leaders are victims of their refusal to see that which they don’t want to see. In a frenzy of self-interest, these politicians conjure up arguments in favour of Iran and its warlike intentions while deluding themselves to the cold, hard facts before them, contributing to their delusion.

In this insanity, there is only one people prepared to say unpopular things regarding Iran’s nuclear ambitions, earning the opposition of narrow-minded little people. Israel alone states the unpopular truths that people know to be true, bringing down upon their heads all the anger and hate that the world can muster. It does not matter that Jews like Zev Jabotinsky, who warned of an approaching holocaust in the 1930s, were sneered at and persecuted. Jews and Gentiles paid a heavy price for their refusal to listen.

Tragically, we are set to repeat history as the West appeases Iran at every turn while the Jewish State is vilified for opposing the coming storm.

Yosef Yigal Drever and Sylvia Drever co-founded Achdut HaLev in 2006 to reach out to the Jewish community's around the world providing support in learning Torah and promoting the 'Return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel.' Yosef Yigal made Aliya in 2014 while Sylvia his wife is an Israeli. In late 2014 Achdut HaLev concentrated all its resources towards Aliya and the rebuilding of Eretz Yisrael. Excluding none and embracing all. The commandment to settle the Land of Israel is equal in importance to all the Torah Commandments all together: (Sifri Deut 12:29)
