Betrayal Again??? Netanyahu in Talks with Left.

As negotiations with the Religious Zionist block reach stalemate Binyamin Netanyahu reaches out to Yesh Atid and the National Unity Party of Benny Gantz.

What does this mean for the Jewish State going forward? In plain language, betrayal of the Israeli electorate for the second time in less than two years. In both instances, the people’s vote counts for nothing or, at most, counts only as a passive instrument.

If Netanyahu does form a government with the Left, he will be as guilty of cynicism as Bennett and Shaked. They betrayed their electorate to form a government to fulfil their naked ambition.

It’s imperative we, the people, not be seduced by the sophisms of private interest, vanity, or cowardice. We must not listen to the reasoners; there has been too much reasoning in Israel, and sense has banished reason. Instead, we must put aside our doubts and trust the infallible instinct of our conscience. Do we want to redeem ourselves in our own eyes? Do we want to acquire the right to self-esteem? Do we want to accomplish a sovereign act? Then we must reject the politics of convenience and betrayal of those who purport to represent the Jewish Nation’s interests and their American overlords.

Otherwise, we as a nation will have embraced a deceptive shadow rather than the truth. We will have prostituted our reasoning, and every word meant to express ideas of justice and virtue.

The question is not whether the Israeli people can be free with the political compromise offered by Netanyahu but wether they can be sovereign. If Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich are thrown overboard, then it should be impossible to imagine an outcome better calculated to annihilate the rights of the Jewish people.
