Israel is not immune to the social disease sweeping Western societies from America to Australia, where governments aspire to more and more power to solve our problems. These governments increasingly deliberate on our behalf and decide for us what is the right thing to do. The liberal woke establishment and its brand of democracy are working to end our moral judgements and replace them with ethical decisions that reflect their outlandish principles.
Israel was no stranger to the Leftist ideology as the late Lapid / Bennett government attempted to cut ties with the State’s Jewish past and embrace a sentimental daydream. They would have us enlist in the new society where abstract hate objects, such as racists, sexists, homophobes, and the like, will free us of prejudice and misplaced privilege.
These liberals who deplore the punishment of Arab nationalists coming from the “victim classes” will advocate specially enhanced punishment for those who commit “hate crimes,” forgetting that a crime is an act, not a thought. This truly is a world upside down.
The sentiment of compassion for the Arab criminals in the Jewish State has become an undercover device for equalizing Arab grievances regardless of the facts on the ground. Consequently, a large percentage of Israelis and diaspora Jews have been duped into helping sworn enemies of the Jewish people to extract concession after concession from the late lamented Lapid, Bennett, and Gantz government.
As a new government is soon to be installed, its hoped that its members will think in terms of real human beings and not as mere pawns in an ideological game built on cliche and stereotypes.
