Biden’s warnings are no surprise for Israel.

United States President Joseph Biden lectures Israel Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Israel’s Judicial Reform laws and tells him to “walk away” from the government’s proposed changes to the Judicial system. Warning Israel “cannot continue down this road”.

When asked if he would invite Israel’s Prime Minister to the Whitehouse, he replied in no uncertain terms, “Not in the near term.”

All of the Biden outrages come as no surprise for Israel’s leaders as America has been interfering in the Jewish State’s domestic affairs for decades and have ramped up expressions of their displeasure with Israel’s independent course of action.

The United States displeasure will continue and not decrease, regardless of what may be said publicly. Times are changing, and the U.S.-Israel special relationship is on the inevitable decline that must happen between all nations at some point in their shared history. This explains Israel’s efforts to widen its International circle of friends factoring in America’s Middle East foreign policy post-2015-2023.

America’s support for Israel is factored on self-interest, as are all nation’s relationships, including that of the Jewish State, and Israel knows better than the others what self-interest can mean in reality. Seventy-seven years ago, the Jewish people were left for dead in the European hell that was Auschwitz, Treblinka, Sobibor and tens of hundreds of concentration camps that blotted the map of Western civilization.

Self-interest back then meant American disinterest in the Final Solution and the plight of six million Jews destined to suffer annihilation at the hands of a cultured Europe.

Today Biden’s words give succour to Israel’s enemies, while tomorrow, its self-interest will present them with an opportunity to strike the Jewish State.

The solution is time for Israel to adopt a policy of self-interest and strike its enemies first, with the goal of total victory, nothing less.
