Count Down to Nuclear Thermal Hell! Iran going Nuclear!
We wrote last Thursday of the Ukraine – Russia war morphing into an all-out global war never seen in the history of the world.
Well the last nail in the coffin is about to be driven home as Iran is set to announce it having joined the Nuclear Club. What does a Nuclear armed Islamic Republic of Iran mean in the wider context.
Firstly like no country before it Iran has declared its intention to wipe the Jewish State from the face of the earth while at the same promoting military adventures in Yemen through its Houthi proxies with the objective of undermining the Saudi Regime in Riyadh. Secondly Iran is directly involved in Syria with war aims against Israel. The moment Iran informs the world that it possess the ability to deliver a nuclear device a epochal shift in not only the Middle East but in Europe’s military balance and its psychological equilibrium will have taken place.
The international order under Pax America will have been replaced by a new more unstable vision for the the future of mankind. The Middle East will witness a nuclear arms race like no other before it in the world’s most volatile region. Iran will not wait to see its newfound advantage slip away while others scramble to match them.
Iran’s, theological ideology and manic hate of the Jewish State means the calculus of deterrence becomes increasingly ephemeral and deterrence increasingly unreliable.
Today’s Iran is only months away from aquiring a deployable nuclear weapons capability: the aquisition of delivery systems, the production of fissile material, and production of warheads. Iran has invested much time and patience to bring all three to bare at the same time.
In the meantime the West, still holds out for a diplomatic solution while resiling from a military option.
The West still seems incapable of taking Iran’s threats any more seriously than their grandfathers took Hitlers’. Iran, sees the possession of Nuclear weaponry as one aspect of a general struggle over regional order and ideological supremacy, to be fought in various arenas spanning the spectrum of war and peace – military and paramilitary operations, diplomacy, formal negotiation, propaganda, political subversion – and eventually nuclear war. Iran is determined to pursue the path of revolutionary Islam and all that means to a morally sick West.
