Fighting Evil: Israeli Style!

The deaths of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Teheran in the early hours of Wednesday morning and Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr in Beirut earlier this week believed responsible for the deaths of twelve Druze children at Majdal Shams. Highlights the Jewish State’s dilemma. As Israel finds itself under familiar attack for taking action to defend its people and secure its borders with the spectre of anti-Semitism, never far from the surface, given a fresh outing. The attacks portray Israel in Nazi-like terms, ignoring the facts on the ground. The attacks from within American media and the Democrat party grow more inflammatory as each day passes. From Teheran to Washington, Israel is accused of committing ‘war crimes’. In doing so, they provide cover for Iran and its proxies responsible for October 7’s undoubted atrocities. In the meantime, the Biden-Harris administration is turning the screws on Israel to cease offensive action against Hezbollah and its masters in Teheran. With the assassination of Haniyeh and Shukr, Israel sent a strong message to Ali Khamenei and Hassan Nasrallah while putting the Americans on notice that American self-interest will not trump Israel’s self-interest when it comes to the survival of the State.

Israel must break out of the American-imposed policy of containment and forge a strategic plan for total victory. Nothing less can preserve the sovereignty of the Jewish State.

Yosef Yigal made Aliya in 2014 while Sylvia his wife is an Israeli. In late 2014 Achdut HaLev concentrated all its resources towards Aliya and the rebuilding of Eretz Yisrael. Excluding none and embracing all. The commandment to settle the Land of Israel is equal in importance to all the Torah Commandments all together: (Sifri Deut 12:29)
