Its Time! Lieberman, Now or Never!

It’s time Israel’s Avigdor Lieberman stepped up to the plate. It’s been more than five years since Lieberman resigned from the then-Netanyahu government in protest of the 2018 ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Five years spent outside of government in the pursuit of Binyamin Netanyahu’s political demise. His refusal to serve in a government alongside the religious parties while ever they oppose military conscription has made him a polarizing figure in Israeli politics.

In October 2023, Avigdor Lieberman appeared to have softened his reluctance to join a Netanyahu government when he stated, ”I am willing to join the war cabinet to bring about the fastest possible victory. I have no interest in being ‘Minister Number 38’ in the cabinet and serve as a fig leaf.”

In fairness to Lieberman, he has remained true to his convictions, and this is to his credit. He is not willing to sell his political beliefs for ministerial hubris.

Yet there comes a time in every patriot’s life when one has to make the hard decisions for the country. That time for Lieberman is fast approaching. His choices will dictate his political future. Lieberman has an opportunity to stand at the forefront of political life and expose the rot and moral suicide of the Jewish State. He, with a few other leaders, has shown in the past his ability to grasp the principle behind the means of destroying a society from within. Israel is crying out for leaders whose talents are matched by a strong will to win and whose self-assurance as to the justice of their cause cannot be defeated.

Avigdor Lieberman currently has many hostile forces ranged against him. However, now is the time to boldly change direction, guaranteeing future generations to hold on to the Jewish State and protect the national body that houses Israel’s soul. It’s time to grasp the future today!
